OnuCommunity Guidelines

We created the Community Guidelines so you can help us foster and protect a safe and open community. By using Onu (formerly GymBuddy), you agree to these guidelines and our Terms of Service. We’re committed to these guidelines and we hope you are too. Overstepping these boundaries may result in deleted content, disabled accounts, or other restrictions.

Post only content that you’ve created or have the right to share.

Remember to submit authentic content, and don’t submit anything you’ve copied or collected from the Internet that you don’t have the right to post.

Post content that is appropriate for a diverse audience.

Content that is offensive, contains profanity, is inappropriate or harmful is not allowed on the app. Threats, lewdness, harassment, hate speech, content targeting private individuals to degrade, shame or insult them, and any personally identifiable information have no place in our community.

Post meaningful and genuine content.

Help us stay spam-free. Do not post promotional content, including external links and offers for other goods and other services. You shouldn’t use the Onu platform to promote your own site or your own business.

You don’t have to use your real name on Onu, but we do require users to provide us with accurate and up to date email information. Don't impersonate others and don't create accounts for the purpose of violating our guidelines or misleading others.

Follow the law.

Onu is not a place to support or praise terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups. Content related to offering sexual services, buying or selling firearms, alcohol, and tobacco products, and buying or selling illegal or prescription drugs (even if legal in your region) is also not allowed. Posts promoting online gambling, online real money games of skill or online lotteries are not allowed.

We have zero tolerance when it comes to submitting sexual content involving minors.

Respect other members of the community.

We want to foster a positive, diverse community. We will remove posts that contain credible threats or hate speech, content that targets private individuals to degrade or shame them, personal information meant to blackmail or harass someone. It's never OK to encourage violence or attack anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases.

Maintain our supportive environment by not glorifying self-injury.

Though we understand that some users may want to post content about difficult issues such as eating disorders, cutting, or other kinds of self-injury to create awareness or find support, posts of this nature are not allowed on the app, and we will remove content that encourages or urges people to embrace self-injury. We try to do our part by following up with posts of this nature so people can get the help they need.

Help us keep the community strong:

  • If you see something that you think may violate our guidelines, please help us by reporting it through the app or emailing us at help@onuwellness.com. Our team reviews these reports and works as quickly as possible to remove content that doesn’t meet our guidelines. If you contact us via email, try to provide as much information as possible, such as links, usernames, and descriptions of the content, so we can find and review it quickly.
  • If one of your photos or intellectual property was posted by someone else, you can email us at help@onuwellness.com, and include “Copyright Report” in the email subject line. If you believe someone is violating your trademark, you can file a report by emailing us with the subject line “Trademark Report”.
  • We may work with law enforcement, including when we believe that there’s risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.

Please note that these guidelines are subject to change, but the most current version will always be available here.
